Our 2023 vintages

We have 2 award-winning still wines in our range; Rosé and Bacchus (a white wine).
Both are made in small batches, using only our grapes.

Our rosé is light and dry, full of summer berry flavours with a crisp, refreshing finish. It is made with 100% pinot noir grapes.

Described by customers as “very quaffable!” it’s perfect for occasions when you’d like something lighter than a red wine.

It was awarded a silver medal at both the Wine GB 2024 awards and at the regional Wessex Wine GB 2024 awards.

Our Bacchus is a fresh, aromatic and dry white wine, with delightful English hedgerow flavours of elderflower, gooseberry and honeysuckle.

Not familiar with the name Bacchus? Bacchus is the grape variety. Many people describe Bacchus as England’s answer to Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are well suited to our cool climate and produce deliciously zesty and aromatic wines, with the added bonus of quintessentially English flavours.

Our bacchus won bronze at 2024’s Wine GB and Wessex Wine GB awards.

The winery

We are a small-scale grower, not a winery, so have partnered with the award-winning Three Choirs from Gloucestershire, who have made the wine.

One of England’s oldest vineyards, Three Choirs are pioneers of the English wine movement.  They have been making wine for almost 50 years and have been suppliers to The Wine Society for longer than any other English vineyard.  Their expert Head Winemaker, Martin Fowke, has closely studied the techniques of New World producers in cooler climates, such as those in New Zealand, and has successfully tailored the winemaking processes to the English climate.  They certainly know a thing or two about how to make fine English wine!
